Halloween at GHA

Halloween Celebrations at GHA traditionally begin with a trip to the pumpkin patch. There are lots of great places to go, so we change our trip location each year because when dealing with pumpkins, "variety is indeed the spice of life"!

Christmas at GHA

Decorations inside and outside are a sign to everyone that GHA is getting ready for the Christmas season. We celebrate the true meaning of giving with our gift campaign for
the needy families in the Gilroy area. Presents are collected, wrapped, labeled and wait in anticipation of the arrival of the SSC Volunteer Firefighters.

Our Secret Santa program is a gift exchange between students within their Form. The teachers also get into the game by exchanging gifts among themselves. The gift exchange is a five day happy time, immediately following lunch, where students and teachers exchange gifts limited to $3.00. Tags are simply signed "Secret Santa". The final day of our celebration begins at 11:30AM with a terrific pot luck luncheon and the opening of our final Secret Santa gift, not to exceed $15.00. This is when you find out who your Secret Santa has been. Students are then excused for the Christmas Break.
